Which grill can you smoke in? Are you a BBQ lover and love the taste of smoked meat? Then you've come to the right place! So which grill should you choose to create the perfect smoke flavor? There are some fantastic options to consider. The kettle grill is a great choice as it is suitable for both grilling and smoking. With its round design, it allows for even heat distribution and keeps the smoke inside the grill. However, if you prefer a more convenient option, a gas grill could be the best choice for you. It allows for precise temperature control and is ideal for those who like to grill spontaneously. For those who prefer a classic design and want a longer cooking time for their meat, the ceramic grill is a great choice. It keeps the temperature constant and gives the meat a unique smoke flavor. However, if you are looking for an authentic smoker experience, then a pellet smoker or offset smoker is for you. They are specially designed to provide the meat with plenty of smoke over a longer period of time, thus guaranteeing a distinctive aroma. So which grill is right for you? Choose the one that best suits your needs and preferences and start your smoker adventure!
Would you like to learn how a smoker grill works and how you can get the most out of your barbecue evenings? Then you've come to the right place! A smoker grill offers you a very special way of grilling, where you can use different types of wood such as oak, beech or hickory to give your dishes a unique smoky note. The secret lies in choosing the right type of wood, which has a decisive influence on the taste of your food. If you want a more intense smoky aroma, then hardwoods such as beech or oak are the perfect choice. If you prefer something a little milder, fruit tree woods such as apple or cherry are a good alternative. But how do you actually light the smoker grill? Here you can choose between charcoal, briquettes or pellets. Each option has its own advantages. Charcoal provides an authentic grilling experience and generates high heat, while briquettes offer an even and long-lasting glow. Pellets, on the other hand, are particularly easy to handle and allow precise temperature control. No matter which variant you choose, a smoker grill gives you a very special grilling experience with a smoky aroma and perfectly cooked meat. So get to the grill and discover the endless possibilities that a smoker grill offers!
How do I find the right smoker for me? So, if you're thinking about getting a smoker, you've come to the right place! There are so many different types of smokers on the market that it can be difficult to make the right choice. But hey, don't worry, I'm here to help! Let's take a look at the different options you can consider.
A very popular smoker is the ceramic grill. These smokers are known for their heat resistance and ability to maintain temperature. They are great for slow and gentle cooking of meat. If you love going low and slow, then a ceramic grill might be just the thing for you.
Another option is the offset smoker. This smoker has a unique design with a firebox on the side. This means that the meat is cooked indirectly and gets an irresistible smoky taste. Offset smokers are ideal for larger quantities of meat and offer a large cooking surface.
If you're looking for a more compact smoker, you might consider a water smoker. These small smokers work with water, which is used to regulate heat and create steam. Water smokers are easy to use and perfect for beginners.
Another classic is the kettle grill. These smokers are versatile and can be used for grilling, smoking and even baking. They come in different sizes and price ranges, so you can surely find one that suits you.
Of course, the gas grill is a must. Gas grills are easy to use and provide fast and even heat. They are ideal for barbecue parties or for those who don't have much time to wait for the charcoal fire.
Last but not least, we come to the pellet smoker. This innovative way of smoking uses wood pellets as fuel to create a smoky flavor. Pellet smokers offer precise temperature control and are ideal for demanding grill masters.
Now that you have an overview of the different types of smokers, I hope you have a better idea of which smoker is best for you.

There's nothing quite like the tantalizing aroma of BBQ, whether it's cooked hot and fast or slow and low. Both methods have their merits and depend heavily on the type of meat and the desired result. Choosing the hot and fast method will allow you to bring delicious BBQ to the table in less time. The high heat ensures that the meat is cooked quickly and develops a crispy crust. It's perfect for thin cuts of meat like steak or chicken breast where it's important that they remain tender and juicy. On the other hand, if you choose the low and slow method, you'll be rewarded with wonderfully tender meat. The meat is cooked at a low temperature for a longer period of time, which allows it to slowly become tender and juicy. This method is ideal for larger cuts of meat like ribs or brisket where it's important to achieve the perfect texture and flavor infusion. Whichever method you choose, one thing is for sure - with the right fire and temperature, you'll have a BBQ experience you'll never forget. Be inspired by the variety of BBQ techniques and experiment with different temperatures to perfect the taste. So go ahead, turn on the grill and let the BBQ adventure begin!
Our smoker course offers a variety of delicious dishes to grill. A popular classic, for example, is American pulled pork, where the meat is slowly cooked over several hours until it is wonderfully tender and juicy. Pork or beef ribs are also a great choice. We'll show you how to marinate them and then prepare them perfectly in the smoker so that they get a wonderfully smoky taste. For those who prefer poultry, we also offer tender and juicy chicken wings, which are refined with a delicious marinade and then slowly cooked in the smoker. Vegetarians are not left out either, because we offer delicious vegetable skewers, where the vegetables get a unique aroma from the smoker. Whether you're a meat lover or a vegetarian, our smoker course has something for every taste!
ATTENTION the course is divided into two parts:
The first day is about handling the grills, preparing the food, the basics of BBQ, we prepare a dish in the evening while we prepare and cook the Holy Trinity for Part 2 the next day.
Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Here the grills are explained in detail, the meat is cut, rubbed and then put into the grill. Of course we'll be heating up the grill that evening. For some burnt ends of pork belly and a few baked beans, after all.
Saturday from 11:00 to 14:30
On Saturday we can then reap the fruits of our labor. Ribs, pulled pork and brisket are ready. We add some tasty side dishes (cole slaw, corn bread, etc.) and we have a great BBQ platter. Enjoy your meal.
