Specialist salesperson and meat sommelier Nicola Kaden has successfully completed further training as a nutrition coach in the butcher trade.

Meat is healthy

"Health and nutrition mean a lot to me," explains Nicola. The background: During his training as a chef, Nicola had already explored the combination of different components for a balanced diet. His goal was to support people in their daily lives by keeping them fit through special dishes. "I've always wondered whether food can prevent illness," says the nutrition coach. That's when he discovered meat and began his career as a butcher.

Nicola has been working in the butcher trade for several years. He is completing further training as a meat sommelier and is deepening his knowledge. The specialist now knows how to properly prepare meat , how to utilize it, and that there's much more to meat than just the popularfillet . Now, however, it's time to discover how meat affects the human body. The Freyberger butcher shop is getting involved.

"I'm a believer in meat ," says Dirk Freyberger. For this reason, the butcher shop is also enabling Nicola to further his training as a nutrition coach in the butcher trade and is supporting him in this process. " Meat from well-bred animals is healthy," adds Dirk. Meat is an indispensable source of protein. This is also scientifically proven. You can find a video about it on our YouTube channel .

Kaden himself now wants to use the training to not only recommend the perfect cut of meat for dinner to customers at the counter, but also to effectively discuss its health benefits. This expertise will now also be incorporated into his barbecue seminars . "Many people don't even realize how healthy meat can actually make you," says Kaden. And that's exactly where he wants to start in the future.

The butcher shop is certainly proud to now have a nutrition coach on board, because: "In this day and age, education about meat is important. And we are doing everything we can to ensure this continues in the future," Freyberger emphasizes.
