About this course
The Basics BBQ Course is aimed at beginners, those transitioning to new grilling methods, and anyone who wants to get more out of their grill than just sausages and neck steaks. In our practical grilling school, the focus is on truly understanding the fundamentals of grilling – regardless of whether you're working with a charcoal grill, gas grill, or modern grilling equipment. The course provides the necessary know-how to correctly control temperature, fuel, and airflow, thus preparing every piece of food evenly and aromatically. Common sources of error are also explained so that you can confidently and enjoyably stand by the grill in the future.
Many grillers take the course when a change of grilling equipment is imminent or they want to find the right grill for their needs. What is the appropriate number of burners for a gas grill? How do you recognize good charcoal? And what makes indirect grilling so special? All these questions are answered step by step. The course shows that grilling is far more than just a quick steak on the weekend – it is a high-quality, culinary craft that, with the right grilling equipment, cuts, and techniques, leads to genuine BBQ enjoyment.
