The Franconian Bratwurst Summit will take place in Pegnitz on June 1, 2025. This event is literally all about sausage . Various butchers from Franconia will present their Franconian bratwursts and present themselves to a jury.
There are two main categories: the classic Franconian bratwurst and the creative bratwurst . There's also an audience award, where visitors can vote for their favorite.
For the past two years, we've won the Bratwurst King crown in a row. Our creative sausages include Cheesy Gonzales and Käsespätzle Bratwurst .
Now we want to be crowned a third time, which is why we have made a shortlist with the help of our customers.

As a butcher shop, we asked our customers to vote in advance. Together, we developed three different creative sausages and temporarily added them to our range: Giulia (antipasti), Moe (mango mozzarella), and Freddy (burger).
Each of these sausages had its own special character. From fruity and spicy to a cheese explosion in the mouth, there was everything. There was a close race between two of the three, but the winner was Giulia .
Now it's official. Giulia has the honor of leading us to victory for the third time. We're looking forward to meeting our customers and community there so we can all face the judges together.
