      Rouladen!

      Schmoren, kochen oder Braten?

Roulades are a classic in the home kitchen. But how exactly do these delicious filled meat parcels need to be prepared? And which recipe includes the correct preparation method? There's only one correct method for preparing roulades: braising. After filling, the meat parcels are coated in flour and then seared on all sides in a roasting pan with butter until golden brown. Then, onions are added and meat broth is poured over them. If you're already craving them, check out ourVideo on our YouTube channel.

Rouladen vom Rind aus eigener Zerlegung

In our butcher shop, several cattle are butchered every week. This is important to us. It's the only way we can tell exactly where our meat comes from. And it allows us to properly complete the entire aging process. This is how most of our beef is dry-aged. But what's special about us is that we dry-age our animals for at least seven days after slaughter and before vacuum-aging. This gives the roulades a special meat flavor and makes them tender.
