On May 7, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., we'll be hosting BBQ Wednesday again. But this time it'll be a very special event. To mark this year's Franconian Bratwurst Summit , we'll be offering three Franconian bratwursts in a roll for five euros. The event will take place at our branch at Katzwanger Hauptstraße 40 in Nuremberg. We also have a short video here .
Now it's all about the sausage
These sausages, however, are special . They are our creative sausages: Giulia, the antipasti sausage, Moe, the mango-mozzarella sausage, and Freddy, the burger sausage .

The background is a competition between bratwursts . We have to find out which of these three creative bratwursts tastes best. We'll take the winner to the Franconian Bratwurst Summit . To do this, we need our customers' support.
We've prepared a video here for voting. Our community simply needs to leave a comment saying which of the three sausages tastes best. We'll evaluate all the feedback and then decide on one of the three.
Not sausage at all
Customers receive the sausages fresh from the grill in a bun. Importantly, each variety comes with a special sausage in the bun, ensuring a direct comparison. Our competition-tested meat sommelier, Pascal Karatay, will grill the sausages .
As a certified Master Class Grill Master and BBQ World Champion in the beef category, Pascal has plenty of expertise on the grill. It's no coincidence that the young butcher also teaches grilling courses and is incredibly excited to serve these special editions to our customers at the branch at Katzwanger Hauptstrasse 40 in Nuremberg.
We don't want to leave anything to chance. In the past two years, we've been able to claim the Bratwurst King crown back-to-back: in 2023 with our Cheesy Gonzales and in 2024 with the Käsespätzle Bratwurst . Our classic Franconian Bratwurst, of course, played a part in this. Now we're aiming for the third time.
