We have news for you all! We're participating in the World Butchers' Challenge (WBC), the world championship of butchers, in Paris. It will take place on March 30th and 31st, 2025. Butchers from all over the world will compete, transforming pork , beef , chicken , and lamb into high-quality meat products similar to those you know from our counter. Therefore, the entire Freyberger butcher shop will be closed during this period, and the burger of the month will not be available.
Freyberger defends title
Our butcher shop is sending Dirk Freyberger and Pascal Karatay to the competition. Dirk is the captain of the Butcher Wolfpack, which represents Germany at the World Championships . The team will compete together in the team competition . Pascal, on the other hand, will compete alone in the Young Butcher competition , the category for young butchers.
But they're not the only ones in Paris. We, the butcher shop, will also be there to cheer everyone on. We'll also be documenting everything on camera. There will also be a livestream on our TikTok channel and on the WBC YouTube channel . Therefore, the butcher shop will be completely closed from March 29, 2025, to March 31, 2025.
No burger kit in March
For this reason, our special burger kit is canceled this month. We usually offer a special burger on the last weekend of the month. We provide you with our creative combinations in the form of a burger for you to prepare yourself. Of course, we include instructions and all the ingredients you need. However, since we won't be there on the last weekend, we obviously can't offer a burger kit .
But good news for our burger fans. You can order our Classic Burger anytime or buy it in our store. A cheeseburger with delicious bacon and a 180g patty , as well as a handcrafted bun . It's a great substitute for our special burger and also makes for great comfort food while you watch the exciting World Cup via livestream.
