With this post, we're addressing all of you directly today. We'll be making some changes in the future that will affect us all. Specifically, these include vacation, BBQ Wednesday, the Burger of the Month, and our YouTube channel and podcast.
Our summer vacation
We also need a little break. For this reason, we'll be on vacation for the last two weeks of August. This means our stores will be closed from August 18 to 31, 2025. Mail-order orders will also only be accepted until August 12 and shipped on August 13 of this year.

So stock up on sausages and meat products so you can bridge our absence in a positive way. As always, content will be appearing on our social media platforms even during our vacation.
BBQ Wednesday
Our BBQ Wednesday has been running monthly for some time now, featuring different dishes. These have always been a regular rotation. However, your feedback and our analysis show that the double cheeseburger is (by a clear margin) the undisputed bestseller. We've often sold out completely in a short time, and a few of you have gone home empty-handed. However, you've also offered constructive criticism.
In summary, you're asking for greater efficiency and greater availability. Of course, we'll accommodate that. For this reason, we've decided to remove the ribs and pulled pork burger from the menu. Furthermore, from now on, we'll only be offering our Classic Cheeseburger at our monthly BBQ Wednesday. The next BBQ Wednesday will be on August 13, 2025.
The monthly burger kit (monthly burger)
As you all know, we release a special burger every month. The burger always differs from our classic bacon cheeseburger with a special bun , select ingredients, and an exclusive chutney. We usually release this as a kit so anyone can recreate it at home. There's always a video tutorial on all our channels.
However, we've been asked several times over the past few years whether the chutney is also available separately. So, we want to test with you to see how well individual chutneys are received in combination with our Classic Burger Kit .
To this end, we'll be refraining from releasing and selling any more burger kits for the foreseeable future. Instead, we'll be offering a rotating selection of seasonal chutneys for purchase from us. We'll let you know exactly what that will look like soon, so stay tuned.
YouTube channel Freyberger TV
You've probably already noticed that, in addition to tutorials and recipes, we also publish a lot of events on our YouTube channel . High-quality reports and vlogs from competitions are no longer uncommon.
However, we would like to refrain from publishing this content as long-form videos in the future. The channel will focus more on The focus will be on tutorials, recipes, and animal husbandry. In addition, more videos with Pascal will appear on the channel in the future.
This also leads to the following: The 2025 German Grill Championship will not have a long-form video. As a reminder, we competed there with the Freybergers BBQ team. From now on, there will be a strict separation of content and channel focus. We plan to continue participating in such competitions in the future, which is why we have an additional channel on Instagram.

This channel operates independently of the Freyberger butcher shop and is run entirely by the members of the Freybergers BBQ grill team, outside of our premises. We'll link the channel here .
The recordings will be published as short videos and photos from barbecue championships on the Freybergers BBQ Instagram channel. However, it cannot be ruled out that no more content of this kind will appear on the Freyberger butcher shop's channels.
Our podcast Hot Counter
For our loyal podcast listeners, the upcoming information isn't new. However, we've noticed that many haven't even heard about it yet. Our podcast:

- now comes weekly.
- has a duration of 40 minutes.
- is played as a short almost exclusively, daily on the separate YouTube channel .
- may serve other short video platforms in the future.
